So what are we waiting for now?

The countdowns are still on...

Way back when, in the early days of my blog, I did a post about adding some countdown widgets to my desktop in order to countdown the days to a few big Twi milestones. As you can see, one big milestone has passed (I’m keeping it there for now, enjoying the fact that New Moon is finally here).

Now that the New Moon premiere has passed, what are we waiting for?

The countdown to the Remember Me premiere has always been on my list, even though I really didn’t know that much about it when I added it originally. I only added it because, well, it’s a Rob movie, and I saw some fuckawesome pics of him in a baseball cap during the shooting. Do you really need any more reason than that?

Now, my spoiler-free ways to not extend to this movie at all. While I haven’t read the script like so many have, I did read an early summary (which, yes, included the ending). I have a LOT of pics from the set saved on my Robporn thumb drive. I don’t feel like I’m hurting my enjoyment of the movie like I did with all the early New Moon spoilers I saw.

That said, I did wait to watch the trailer on the big screen before watching and rewatching it on YouTube. (BTW, local movie theater that serves alcohol: why did you show it before the single showing of Twilight but not before the three showings of New Moon I’ve seen there?)  There’s was something cool about seeing it that way first. It’s a great trailer…although I’m probably more than a little biased. Then again, after one viewing, my SIL has informed me that we will be going to see it as a girl’s night out…and she talks about it more than she did New Moon.

It’s obvious the excitement for Remember Me is building on the blogs and on Twitter. Like me, lots of Twi fans have started counting down the days. 98 days doesn’t seem that bad, considering my countdown started at 237 days. There’s something cool about the countdown finally being below 100, although I’m constantly reminding myself not to wish my life away.

The next countdown is for the Eclipse premiere. When I added that countdown, there were 375 days to go. Right now, I’m pretty laid back about it (and completely spoiler pure, just so you know), but, if New Moon was any indication, I’ll go completely nuts when the countdown hits around 14 days. I’m absolutely going to the Chicago Eclipse gathering, and, as soon as I know the date I’m leaving for it, I’ll add a widget for that, too.

What saddens me, however, is that I cannot add a Breaking Dawn countdown yet 😦 I mean, come on Summit, you’ve made almost HALF A FUCKING BILLION DOLLARS worldwide on New Moon! You so know you’re making Breaking Dawn, so put us out of our misery already. (P.S. I’m in the 2 movies camp, but I’ll take what I can get…as long as Rob is in the movie…oh, and Ashley and Billy Burke…and Kellan…and Taylor…and Jackson. Okay, the only ones I don’t care about are KStew and Nikki.)

What are you waiting for? Any countdowns I should add? (New Moon DVD release is so getting added once it’s announced.)

P.S. I’m dying to show you my desktop…it’s so yummy *swoon*

  1. lol, I heart your desktop. I had Rob as mine and DH aka Asshat took it off and replaced it with The Count from Sesame Street. *shakes head*

  2. I know I should be more attentive, but all I care about from this post is YOU’RE COMING TO CHICAGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
